Always wanted to learn to dance? Maybe you already know a few moves and would love to meet up with like minded people?
Join and support our resident dance instructors Lynn Ruggles and Tim Benatos from LetZRock every Tuesday night as they teach you a new routine in a new location – The Grange, a beautiful and private space where you can dance and spin and make new like minded friends.
Even if you have never danced before, you will get your body moving on a fun and supportive dance floor. Singles and couples are welcome. We encourage you to wear your best 50’s or Latino inspired clothing, footwear and hair styles.
ROCK ‘N’ ROLL
Expect the first hour to contain rock ‘n’ roll dance moves that originated in the 1950’s and evolved over the years – Six-Step Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rockabilly/Open Rock’ n’ Roll, East Coast Swing and Jive. Each lesson starts with some basic steps and then progresses into a full routine by the end of the hour.
LATIN BALLROOM
The second hour will be a Latino inspired dance class that will get you shaking your hips and moving your feet. Similar to the rock ‘n’ roll component, the Latin Ballroom dance lesson will start off with basic steps and progress to a routine. Expect cha cha, samba, jive and more.
TIMINGS
